From the East – via M5
From Junction 27 of the M5 take A361 to Tiverton and then towards Barnstaple. After approximately 23 miles, turn left at the roundabout to South Molton. Follow the road through South Molton and then turn left on to the B3227 to Torrington. After approx. 5-6 miles, take the left turn marked to Eastacott. Proceed along lane for approximately one and a half miles. DO NOT turn left at the stone cross (signposted to Eastacott) but go straight on, past Narracott Farm and down the hill. The entrance and drive to Eastacott Barton is about ½ mile further on the left.
From the North (Barnstaple) or South and West (Exeter/Crediton)
Take the A377 (Barnstaple to Exeter road) to Umberleigh. (About 9 miles south of Barnstaple). At Umberleigh cross the river Taw over the bridge opposite The Rising Sun Pub. Turn immediately right after crossing the bridge and continue about half a mile. You will pass the small post office, and over a level crossing. Take the first left turn sign posted to Eastacott. Drive through the Brightley Barton farm area, and the entrance to Eastacott Barton is about half a mile further on the right.
As you approach along the drive, fork right by the barns for Stable. Parking is by the walled garden. If you are staying at Harebell, continue along the drive (do not turn right to Stable) passed the walled garden and turn right in between the main house and Stable (small turning) into the courtyard. You will see Harebell in front of you and can park in the courtyard.
